  • Is this Keyshawn's show? Why does he always talk more than Jay? Of the three, he is the least interesting to me.

  • The Dodgers need one more top tier type stud arm to go with Buehler. I love Kershaw, always will, but the Dodgers need to take the pressure off the guy now. Buehler is like a Phoenix, he rises with the pressure and burns brighter because of it. Urias can be that young ace type arm, but the Dodgers really babied him to death as they brought him up so it will take a year or so for him to really burst out. The Dodgers pitching staff is deep and it's true that they have better depth of qualityr arms than other teams. Rotation and bull pen. The Dodgers staff is built for the long haul. they are designed to dominate over the course of a long, grinding season. Not a quick, high pressured series. The Dodgers need a better 1-2 punch at the top of their rotation and they would roll and win serval world series tiles. If! he Dodgers had traded for Trevor Bauer at the deadline this season, they would have already been in the world series. It's not rocket science, they need another stud to help Buehler shut things down.

  • Clayton Kershaw this Clayton Kershaw that. . . the man goes 5 innings and gives up 4 runs which is not a great performance but its also not terrible and the whole sports world wants to act like he gave up 10 runs in the first inning. The real issue here is that the Dodgers lineup decided to just go silent they are playing like a bunch of bums

  • It sucks, but it’s also the truth. Kershaw will be remembered as one of the greatest regular season pitchers of all time. He’ll also be remembered as a pitcher who gave up a million postseason dingers and got progressively worse as the games got progressively bigger. I feel horribly for him because he seems like an awesome guy. I know he works his a*s off. I’m not even sure that if he were to win a game 7 in the WS, his reputation would change. He can’t win the “big one.” He’s come up short plenty of times to make that criticism fair.

Joseph Van HornJoseph Van Horn6 ditë më parë
    • Brian Honeycutt LOL Hopefully we get to find out for sure how a World Series MVP, or at least having a dominant WS will effect Kershaw’s rep/legacy. He was about as good as it gets last night. If the game was closer than I’m sure he would’ve stayed in the game longer since he only threw 78 pitches. With how big of a deal people made out of his game 4 start in the NLCS, imagine if he pitches game 5 with the series tied 2-2, or if he is in the game to try to close out the Rays. I think the Dodgers are too good to be denied this year. They had the best run differential in baseball at +136. San Diego was next at +84, no one else was better than +60. They were on pace to win 116 games. The Rays are really good, but the Dodgers might’ve gone down as one of the best teams in a long time if the season was its typical amount of games.

Joseph Van HornJoseph Van HornDitë më parë
    • @Joseph Van Horn yeah I think you're totally right about how kershaw is and will be viewed without some major postseason heroics. Sad.

Brian HoneycuttBrian Honeycutt5 ditë më parë
    • Brian Honeycutt Yeah, I went a little too far right there. If he’s the MVP of a World Series or pitches a gem in the series clinching game, his reputation would rightfully be given a huge boost. BUT, that’s pretty much what it would take for him not to be forever thought of as an all time great pitcher who wasn’t able to perform in the pressure filled postseason. I’m not a Dodgers fan, but I like Kershaw a lot. He’s always giving his time and money to help people, and he seems like a really good guy. I also feel for Dodgers fans. They’ve suffered heartbreak after heartbreak. That organization is so well run and the team should be really good for a long time, but the success is hollow without a championship. Honestly, I would like to see any of the remaining teams win it all, except for the Astros. They’re all great teams that built themselves up the hard way and I would like to see one of them rewarded for it.

Joseph Van HornJoseph Van Horn5 ditë më parë
    • I think hin winning a g7 in ws would help tremendously. Wouldnt totally solve it all by any means but look at david price, he was even worse than kershaw in pkst season but finally came through in clutch and viewed very differently now. He helps dodgers get a ring and his legacy is vastly improved imo

    • @Evan Clark the Rays have big names? Tf you talking about? Meadows, Lowe, etc on offense; Snell, Glasnow, Morton, Yarbrough, etc in the rotation; Anderson, Castillo, Alvarado, etc in the pen. The Rays just have depth at ever position, and GOOD depth. Above average talent everywhere, thats why theyre great.

New York ThunderNew York Thunder6 ditë më parë
    • Consieer it done..

    • @Evan Clark I think you meant 'proven' talent then, not talent. Besides starting pitching the Braves are a monster team that won out in an ubber competitive NL East. Consider the worst team in the NL East was the defending world series champion Nationals, The Phillies roll up with Bryce Harper and JT, the Mets with Degrom and Thor, and the freaking Marlins made the playoffs and knocked off the Cubs... Usually the best division in basebase is the AL East, but this year...AL Central, NL Central, and NL East were all deep.
